Jonathan Adler for Cottonelle

Interior designer Jonathan Adler has teamed with the Cottonelle brand to design a spring collection of toilet paper roll covers, with the goal of changing people's point of view on the product. The idea is to encourage consumers to pay attention to an often-overlooked opportunity to enhance the look and feel of their bathrooms. The three limited-edition Jonathan Adler designs are available exclusively through Cottonelle: consumers can either order direct ($3.99) or use an offer from marked packages (and just pay $1.99 shipping). The new spring collection is billed as an affordable indulgence. "Part of my passion for design is taking everyday objects and turning them into eye-catching conversation pieces,” said Adler. Cottonelle toilet paper roll covers debuted last August, with more than 300,000 sold.

Launch: December 2011
Package design: Jonathan Adler
