Last year, Kimberly-Clark’s oval Kleenex packaging was filled with festive, sparkling designs. To reflect the tone of 2009, this year’s holiday packaging plays on a more nostalgic, traditional theme. Available in four varieties, each design points out activities that count in a challenging economy. For example, one variety features a bright, shiny blue background with textured white matte snowflakes and outlines of children making a snowman. Other varieties show children ice skating, bringing home a tree or decorating the tree. The Holiday 2009 Kleenex ovals were introduced in October/November and retail for $2.99.
