By using a high-grade card material and upscale typography and graphics, Constellation was able to create a premium wine brand to fit consumers’ needs at home. Holding 2.25L, or three bottles, of wine, Hardys Nottage Hill packaging keeps wine fresh for up to six weeks after opening. It’s also 70 percent lighter than three traditional glass bottles of wine and uses the same amount of shelf space as one bottle. And for convenience at home, the red wine variety features a side tap design for easy serving on the kitchen counter, while the white wine variety features a tap on the bottom of the package so that it can be laid down in the refrigerator, and poured straight from the fridge.
