In collaboration with his production company, Disturbing Tha Peace, and cognac producer Birkedal Hartmann, rapper Chris “Ludacris” Bridges has introduced Conjure cognac. Targeted at the upscale urban market, the Conjure bottle is a mixture of hip-hop and French culture. The design on the bottle appears to be a French toile pattern, but upon closer inspection, consumers will see that the engraved design is actually made up of female silhouettes. “The design carries a sophisticated wit which is true to the Ludacris brand,” says John Barker, president of Barker/DZP. “Our goal was to push the limits with the name and the design, and make sure that quality and uniqueness were conveyed in the branding and graphics.” (Package design: Barker/DZP, www.barkerdzp.com)
