Appealing to the everyday

Tableaux is a lifestyle wine brand anchored around the idea of everyday accessibility. The brand name, defined as a striking scene, was chosen to evoke that idea, while the die-cut, self-adhesive label literally depicts it, creating the profile of a cocktail scene. Cost Plus currently carries the French-American wine, which retails for $9.99. “Tableaux reflects the spirit of the South of France in its taste, but equally in its attitude that life is to be enjoyed simply, everyday,” says Philip Ross of Artisan Wine Group, which owns and imports the wine.  (Brand development and design: Philippe Becker Design, www.pbdsf.com).
