Residents in the London borough of Brent could face a £1,000 ($1,914
USD) fine if they fail to recycle packaging, now that the Brent Council
has made recycling compulsory for its residents. "We collect your green
box weekly so it is easy to see if you are recycling," the borough's
website says. more
