As the first ketchup packet makeover for the foodservice industry in 42 years, Heinz introduces Dip & Squeeze packaging. In the past, consumers struggled to open Heinz ketchup packets and worried that they might make a mess while doing so. Now, consumers can either peel back the lid for dipping, or tear off the cap to squeeze ketchup out. And, the new package holds three times as much ketchup as the traditional packet.
February 2010 rollout, with nationwide distribution by the end of 2010
