Blum Naturals took an unconventional approach to design packaging for its personal care line.
Blum Naturals took an unconventional approach to designing packaging for its line of face cleansing towlettes, face wash, oil absorbing tissues and eye cleansing pads. The company reached out to the School of Art and Design at Pratt Institute and hosted a student competition. The resulting identity reinforces a mission to follow environmentally friendly manufacturing practices. In addition to sourcing certified natural ingredients, Blum uses soy inks on labels, recycled paper trays and saves plastic by using flexible pouches for its towelettes instead of the rigid tubs typically used by other brands.
