Aluf Stops Stinky Bags, Celebrates 35 Years

Aluf Plastics, Inc. a division of API Industries, is celebrating its 35th anniversary year in business. Aluf, a family owned company, is a certified member of the Women’s Business Enterprise Council, WBENC. Aluf Plastics has been recognized for their continual growth and success by Inc. Magazine. They were selected as one of the Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing private companies. Aluf Plastics has one of the largest commercial can liner factories in the U.S., and is one of the largest plastic recyclers in the State of New York.

Aluf manufactures of a wide variety of can liners and specialty items, including mattress bags, food and recycling bags, bottle bags and red printed infectious waste bags. Aluf also manufactures a wide range of custom bags ranging in size from 8 to 178 inches wide, individually folded bags and coreless rolls.

Aluf is reportedly the only can liner manufacturer to offer trash bags with Microban antimicrobial protection which inhibits the growth of odor causing bacteria on the bag.
