Company Improves Production Time with Dymatrix 106 Pro Die Cutter

The equipment handles short or long runs, complex layouts and just-in-time packaging production.

Transparent Container Company Inc., an industry leader in retail packaging solutions, has added a new Heidelberg Dymatrix 106 Pro high-performance die cutter to its growing list of recent equipment acquisitions. The Dymatrix 106 Pro is reportedly perfect for a variety of applications from short to long runs and from complex layouts to just-in-time packaging production. It has a maximum sheet size of 76 x 106 centimeters (29.92 x 41.73 inches); can handle paper, cardboard and corrugated board; and has an operating speed of up to 9,000 sheets per hour.

“Material flexibility makes the Dymatix 106 Pro perfect for the very wide variety of folding carton and carded packaging jobs we run," says Doug McCarrell, paperboard plant manager. “Plus, it will help us achieve our goal of providing our customers with the high-quality, just-in-time production they’re looking for.”

The capabilities of the new die cutter will also help Transparent Container achieve additional improvements in finishing productivity, capacity and overall efficiency.

Investing in the Dymatrix 106 Pro underscores Transparent Container’s strategy to service the customer. As explained by Scott Greiwe, president and CEO, “By acquiring the latest technology available, we can provide the best packaging solutions with the shortest lead times possible. Retailers keep changing the demands placed on brand owners, so they will continue to look for converters that have the flexibility needed to help them achieve both their product launch and quality expectations. TCC is now more ready than ever to meet our customer’s needs.”
