Just Out

Canada > Doritos

Designed to entice consumers to participate in its “The End” campaign, Doritos Canada introduces two, distinct black and white packages. Each bag features a bold letter A or B to represent the brand’s new flavors-Onion Rings N’ Ketchup and Buffalo Wings N’ Ranch.

Through its interactive website (www.writetheend.ca), consumers are encouraged to write the last 20 seconds of a commercial in which one of the flavors is destroyed. The winning commercial will then be shot, and the destroyed flavor will be removed from shelves permanently. As Doritos vividly explains, “This is the end. Two flavors. Onion Ring N’ Ketchup. Buffalo Wings N’ Ranch. Sadly, one must be destroyed. Which flavor and how is up to you.”
