Pedestrians were intrigued by oversized cartons Mini Cooper placed out with the curbside trash in various locations around Amsterdam as part of a post-holiday promotion. The cartons featured a black outline of a Mini Cooper and pieces of torn ribbon and Christmas paper still hanging from the box, giving the impression that the popular car had been shipped to a lucky recipient as a holiday present. A simple, white sticker on the lower left of the box included information on auto brand’s new leasing promotion. Bemused passersby were recorded by the campaign’s creative agency as they snapped photos of the curious setup, and the videos were posted on YouTube. (via www.theinspirationroom.com)
