Retro's the Way to Go for Prestone 50/50 Antifreeze/Coolant Packaging

Prestone Products Corporation selected TFI Envision Inc. to develop their promotional, limited edition ‘retro’ Antifreeze/Coolant package and matching case as an exclusive offer to celebrate Walmart’s 50th Year Anniversary this past November. The one-time limited edition pallet and package label intends to impulse shoppers (who know the long standing history of the Prestone brand) to pick up a gallon of their trusted antifreeze/coolant.

TFI Envision reviewed the historical packaging of the Prestone brand car products (originally sold in steel containers) and selected the product package design that was on shelf 50 years ago as a starting point, to align most closely and authentically with Walmart’s anniversary, and updated the graphics for the Prestone 50/50 Prediluted Extended Life product formulation with today’s claims and yesterday’s look. A “Historical Edition Limited Time” graphic was also added to the product packaging to explain to consumers why it looks so nostalgic!

Prestone launched its trusted formula in 1927, and for over 85 years has delivered premium antifreeze/coolant to help keep your vehicle running worry-free and has become a leading branded antifreeze.
