Orville Redenbacher launches its new Pop Up Bowl, a package
that is designed to make snacking simpler. While in the microwave, the bag
transforms into a wide-brimmed, free-standing bowl, complete with a transparent
top for easy popcorn viewing. “Families can enjoy popcorn in a form that makes
it easy to share and clean-up,” says Jesse Spungin, the brand’s vice president
of marketing. “Plus, research showed that consumers wanted to be able to
see their popcorn more easily; Pop Up Bowl’s unique design lets them do that.” The
bag-to-bowl design is available in butter, movie theater butter, ultimate
butter, kettle korn and smartpop butter varieties.
