Designed to heighten the spirit and excitement of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Coca-Cola launched a collection of limited-edition cans and fridge packs featuring silhouettes inspired by a group of popular US Olympians and champions called the Coca-Cola “Six Pack.” The group includes five-time Olympic medalist Apolo Anton Ohno (short track speed skating), Olympic silver medalist Gretchen Bleiler (snowboard), three-time Olympic medalist Angela Ruggiero (ice hockey), World Champion Evan Lysacek (figure skating) and two-time US figure skating champions Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker. In addition to the cans, the designs also appear on 20oz Coca-Cola bottles, multipacks and 2L bottles with a new silhouette appearing every two to three weeks. A commemorative can featuring a contemporary interpretation of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games symbol will be released for the February 12th opening of the Games.
