Kellogg’s not only introduced Kellogg’s Corn Flakes with a Touch of Honey, it also made the new product’s packaging bilingual. Content appears in English and Spanish on the front of the box, as well as in the Nutrition Facts panel and in a recipe found on the back of the box. While honey-sweetened products are popular among the adult population in the United States, honey is also a popular flavoring for the Hispanic community. “Spanish-speaking customers who are familiar with the brand will recognize that the Kellogg Company respects and values their patronage,” says Susanne Norwitz, director of brand public relations, Kellogg Co. “The Latino community will be able to read and understand more about the nutritional value of the cereal as well as use the recipe to provide their families with an additional treat.” (Package design: Schawk, Inc., www.schawk.com)
