USA > Purina ONE beyOnd

Purina One raises the pet food bar with its newest brand, beyOnd. The natural dog and cat food features real meat, along with vitamins and minerals, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and no artificial preservatives or added fillers. In addition to its natural ingredients, the product’s package is also carefully considered. All of the bags are made with at least 92 percent renewable materials-the lining is made with a bioplastic, the paper is Sustainable Forestry Initiative or Forest Stewardship Council certified; and the package features vegetable-based soy inks. From a manufacturing standpoint, the Purina plants meet the international standard for environmental management systems (ISO 14001), and skylights and solar panels help to minimize energy consumption.
