After a series of packaging renditions, Ricky’s Lucky Nuts launched final packaging for its line of all-natural peanuts. The pouches feature a large logo for brand recognition, and a die-cut window in the shape of a peanut.  Research found that consumers want to see the product (hence the peanut-shaped window) and they want resealable bags to keep the product fresh. In addition to being resealable, bags of Ricky’s Lucky Nuts feature a saran-coated film for additional barrier strength to ensure freshness. A colored panel at the top of each package denotes product benefits, while the background colors determine the flavor.
