Innovation comes to the spray paint aisle in the form of an easy-to-use can



 

Valspar brings innovation to the spray paint aisle, a category that has seen little since the 1970s. The brand collaborated with design consultancy Webb de Vlam and drew inspiration from the beauty and personal care space to develop a new, easier-to-use actuator that will be used across all of its premium spray paint offerings. The actuator features a larger finger pad, which requires 35% less pressure to operate, alleviating finger fatigue. The new design also prevents accidental spraying via a locking system that engages when the cap is twisted 90 degrees.
