Brazi Bites wants to position the company as the brand that introduces the United States to Brazilian cheese bread, a popular South American snack. Branding has to be vibrant and fun, clearly communicating the company's deeply held values. Additionally, the system needs to have room for growth into new products. Brazi Bites is also moving from natural markets only in the gluten-free space into more conventional retailers.

The goal of Daisy Squeeze Sour Cream was to launch a package that met consumer needs by offering improved convenience over the existing tub packaging. This package brings functionality and ease-of-use to the sour cream market. Consumers are able to use sour cream both as a topping, and as an ingredient, with less mess than before. The valve inside the flip-lid closures provides for a controlled dispense and clean cut off. The flexible format aids in total product evacuation to reduce product waste. In addition to consumer feedback, the designers considered how the concept works in various retail and merchandising settings.

The seal pack was designed to stack the cakes in a way that highlights the coatings.

Fisher has been known for quality products since Sam Fisher first introduced salted, in-shell peanuts more than 90 years ago. The Fisher snack product line needed a facelift to remain relevant to today’s consumer. The intention of the new packing was twofold; to move to a stand-up bag structure and to refresh the brand image at the shelf. The stand-up bag allows the package to stand up on the shelf for maximum visibility and features a zipper for easy access and to maintain freshness.

Irresistibles is the premium private brand available exclusively at Quebec grocer Metro, Inc. Maple sugar and fl akes are a new retail product. Flakes are derived from maple syrup and can be used in cooking or as a sweetener for coffee or other foods. Conveniently packaged in resealable bags, the product is visible through a window area. The Irresistibles brand is easily identified with its red and gold logo and distinctive color band architecture on spot labels, here bordered by an image of maple tree bark.

The Little Kernel was born out of the founder’s search for a healthy and delicious snack for his young son, who has autism. This product is a hull-less corn with smaller pieces. As a new brand, the goal was to instantly use its name and design to tell a story about product size and to create a character with a big personality. One single piece of popcorn as a main focus helps give an immediate size connotation. The camouflage texture is incorporated differently on each bag to tell a flavor story and ensure the military "colonel" theme doesn't become cliché.

Tillamook Country Smoker has been making beef jerky for 40 years. The company set out to create a unified packaging system across all products and flavors that would reflect the history, craft and wholesome ingredients that go into every bag. This packaging features hand-painted elements, woodcut illustrations and an enlarged ingredient list to highlight the ingredients. The pouch structure is a laminated kraft with a resealable adhesive closure and a matte finish. The jerky stick structure is flexible film with a matte finish, and the counter tray is folded cartonboard.

Twizzlers is a top in the Hershey Sweets category. This new package provides an easy-open and easy-reseal for the Twizzlers consumer, with improved tamper evidence. Reseal was the top request from consumers who want to be able open and reseal packaging multiple times while keeping the product fresh. The FreshPak reseal tape maintains the package’s barrier, provided by the packaging film, and protects the taste and quality properties of the product. The FDA-compliant, resealable PSA tape feature was developed to meet the demand for direct contact in the unwrapped candy industry.
